Insects

- Mammals cannot breathe under water
- Mammals only replace their teeth once in their lifetime

- Birds lay eggs, and their young have to develop within these eggs
- Birds have wings, but not all birds can fly
- Birds have beaks
- Birds also have hollow bones
Reptiles
- Reptiles are cold-blooded
- Reptiles lay eggs
- Most reptiles are four legged animals, with the exception of snakes and some legless lizards
- Reptiles have scaly skin
Amphibians
- Amphibians absorb water and vaious gasses through their smooth skin
- Amphibians have a lightweight skeleton
- Amphibians develop lungs, except for mud pupppies
- Amphibians need to keep their skin moist in order to breathe
